Tom Clark

Thomas (Tom) R. Clark is a 37-year veteran of the Fire Service and is currently serving his third term as an elected Director with the San Miguel Consolidated Fire Protection District. Tom’s Fire Board experience includes serving terms as President and Vice President. He has been a member of the Board’s Finance, Negotiations, Communications and Consolidation committees. Tom’s career with the San Diego Fire Department included assignments as the Deputy Chief of Operations, Support Services Divisions, and the Department’s Project Officer for the Public Safety Communications Center. During his Fire Service career, Tom served as the Communications Officer, the Fire Chief’s representative to the Area Coordinator, Director of the Metro Arson Strike Team and an Operation’s Battalion Chief. Tom was on the Unified Command Team for the 2003 Cedar Fire. His education includes an Associate of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, and a Certificate in Fire Administration.
