CITIZEN COMPLAINTS
The Fire Prevention
Bureau handles citizen complaints. A secretary takes the complaint
and completes a Complaint Form. The complainant is asked for
information and for a callback number. All complaints are
confidential. We request a callback number to inform the
complainant of our findings and what action, if any, we will be taking.
Most complaints received are weed complaints. We have an effective
and active weed abatement program in place, which has been used as a model
for others. Our citizens play an active part in the program.
